Located in Parga, Greece, Maris is a jewelry shop providing its customers with modern handmade creations. The name is derived from the latin word for sea “mare” and the Maria, the owner’s first name.
The challenge was to design a logo that incorporates the word with the image of the sea. The solution came from looking at the sea itself. A wavy pattern was first sketched, then the letters were designed to fit in such a way as to look handwritten. Printing using hot copper foil on the logo on heavy uncoated paper gives the packaging material of the shop an elegant and premium look.
